How information is used by our Android game and its supporting services.
Who we are
Asian Sparrow LLC publishes Sootfall: Jetpack Arena, Android package com.sootfall.game. For privacy questions or data requests, email support@asiansparrow.com.
Information stored on your device
The game stores your player alias, appearance, loadout, settings, XP, match statistics, achievements and recent match identifiers locally so it can remember your preferences and progress. An age-group choice is used to determine which advertising treatment is available. No game account is required. Optional Wi-Fi/code-linked rooms use a signaling service to introduce devices, then exchange gameplay state and optional quick-chat callouts between peers. Other players in the room receive these callouts; avoid putting personal information in your player alias. The service receives player aliases, peer and room identifiers, arena/mode metadata, and connection/signaling information. Network providers process technical information such as IP addresses. Devices able to reach the signaling service may see advertised rooms; the directory is not restricted to a single Wi-Fi subnet. Global online matchmaking and cloud career sync are not enabled in this release.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat verifies purchases and manages access to purchased features using an anonymous app identifier, purchase history, transaction information and device/software information. The game does not require an email address for play or send your player alias as a RevenueCat customer attribute. An anonymous identifier is still associated with a purchase record; it does not mean every transaction is unidentifiable.
Purchase services use information for app functionality, transaction verification and purchase analytics. We do not receive your full payment-card details from the in-game purchase flow. Read RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy for their practices.
Advertising and consent
When ads are enabled for your age group and privacy choices, Google AdMob may process IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, app/ad interactions, diagnostics and device identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. This can occur without a location permission. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing. See Google Mobile Ads data disclosures.
The launch design does not request ads for unknown-age or under-13 users. Teen users receive restricted, non-personalized ad treatment. Where required, a consent message appears before ads can be requested. Use Privacy Options in Settings to review available choices when that option is provided for your region.
The menu banner can be hidden for the current session. Remove Ads permanently removes the banner. Rewarded ads are optional and offered after matches; they are not required to continue core gameplay. Neither banner nor automatic full-screen ads appear during active matches.
Support and this website
If you email us, we use your reply address, message and information you choose to provide to answer your request. Purchase support may require an anonymous support ID or transaction reference so we can find the correct record. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
This product website has no analytics tags, advertising scripts, account form or tracking cookies added by us. Fonts and images are served from this website. The hosting service may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure pages. Email links open your email application; they do not submit a form to this website.
Why we use information and who receives it
We use information to run local features, deliver paid entitlements, respond to support, manage consent and provide permitted advertising. Google and RevenueCat process information for their respective services. The configured Cloudflare-hosted signaling service and network providers process connection and room metadata to enable linked play; aliases and game state are also visible to connected peers. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or needed to investigate abuse and protect legitimate rights.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, operating requested features and purchases relies on performance of a contract; support and security rely on legitimate interests; legally required processing relies on legal obligations; and consent is requested where required for advertising or related storage. You may withdraw consent through available privacy controls without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Retention and deletion
Local progress remains until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Purchase records are retained as needed to provide and restore entitlements, verify transactions and meet legal requirements. Support information is retained as needed to resolve requests and document their handling. Advertising-service retention follows the relevant provider's practices. Room and signaling metadata is used to coordinate connections and active sessions. Hosting providers may retain technical records for service delivery and security under their practices; clearing local game data does not delete provider-held records.
Clearing local storage does not automatically delete Google Play or RevenueCat transaction records. To request deletion of information handled by us or on our behalf, follow the data request instructions. We will explain any information that must be retained for a legal, security or transaction-related reason.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. Google and RevenueCat describe encryption in transit for their SDK services. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Service providers may process information outside your country; applicable provider agreements and safeguards govern that processing.
Children and teens
Sootfall is intended for teen and adult players aged 13 and above. Local laws may provide additional protections for minors. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us using the details above. We may request proportionate information to verify that a request relates to your record.

We will update this policy when the game's practices change and show the latest date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate app or website notices.
