Information the app accesses or processes

OmniScan may access or process the following information for app functionality:

• Camera access, used only to let the user scan documents.
• Images, imported files, scanned pages, document names, crop points, filters, rotations, and generated PDFs, processed locally on the device.
• Storage or file access, used to import files, save PDFs, and share files when the user chooses those actions.
• Notification permission, if enabled by the user, used for app or export-related notices supported by Android.
• Vibration, used for scan or interface feedback where supported.
• Internet access, used for advertisements, purchase verification, and app services that require a network connection.
• Advertising ID and related ad data, used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads in the free experience.
• Purchase and subscription status, product identifiers, and receipt or entitlement verification data, used to enable Pro features and remove ads after purchase.

How information is used

Information is used to:

• Capture, crop, enhance, rotate, organize, export, and share scanned documents.
• Save files to the user’s device when the user selects a download or save action.
• Open Android share options when the user chooses to share a PDF.
• Show ads to free users and support an ad-free Pro experience.
• Verify purchases and restore Pro access.
• Maintain app security, diagnose technical issues, and comply with app store requirements.

Local document handling

Scanned documents and exported PDF files are stored locally on the user’s
device or in locations chosen by the user. Asian Sparrow LLC does not
operate a cloud document storage service for OmniScan and does not upload
scanned document content to an Asian Sparrow LLC server.

Sharing with third parties

OmniScan may share limited information with third parties only as needed for app functionality:

• Google AdMob may receive advertising identifiers, device information, app interaction data, diagnostics, and ad delivery data to provide and measure ads.
• Google Play may process payment, purchase, account, and receipt information for in-app purchases.
• RevenueCat may process purchase entitlement and receipt verification data to help the app determine whether Pro features are active.
• Other apps or services may receive exported PDFs only when the user intentionally selects an Android share, upload, backup, or export option.

Asian Sparrow LLC does not sell scanned document content. Third-party
providers process data under their own privacy policies and terms.

Data retention and deletion

Documents and generated PDFs remain on the user’s device until the user
deletes them, clears app data, removes exported files, or uninstalls the
app. Users can delete documents in the app. Purchase records and ad-related
data may be retained by Google, RevenueCat, or advertising providers under

LLC controls.

Security

OmniScan uses platform-provided app storage, Android permissions, and
app-store purchase verification to help protect user data and paid
features. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely
secure, but the app is designed to limit document exposure by keeping scan
processing on device.

Children’s privacy

OmniScan is not directed to children under 13. If a parent or guardian
believes a child has provided personal information to Asian Sparrow LLC
through OmniScan, please contact us so we can review the request.

Changes to this policy

Asian Sparrow LLC may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal
requirements, or business practices change. The updated policy will be
posted with a new effective date.
